  • Our PMHPSG Google Group is up and running!  If you haven’t signed up, Search/ Browse Google Groups for “Baltimore Perinatal Mental Health Professional Study Group” and ask to join, or send a direct email to Sara to request an invite be sent (this option may take a bit longer).  Once you’ve joined, feel free to reach out to the group - ask a question or share a resource.

Baltimore PMH Resource Guide Update
  • Kisha Semenuk, Open Referral, and MHAMD/ Healthy New Moms have offered input/ assistance.
  • A DRAFT of the Baltimore Resource Guide’s Provider Application Form has been created in Google Forms.  Providers wishing to be in the Guide will be required to complete the form, to request consideration.  A draft of the Application Form was presented during the meeting, requesting feedback.  Once the form is ready and goes ‘live,’ provider names/ profiles can be assigned to volunteers, for ‘vetting’ by phone.  The format/ flow for this is in the planning stages.
  • Meeting participants shared ideas about compiling the Baltimore Resource Guide, discussed frustration with various resources lists that already exist (which are often out of date/ unhelpful), and discussed ways the Google Group can be used to share referral info/ resources in the short-term, while the Guide project is in progress.

***Please consider sharing at our next meeting about a difficult/ interesting PMH case you have worked with, and/or general discussion topics relevant to your work with mothers.  If you are interested in presenting info on a particular topic and/or leading a discussion, please let Sara know.  Thanks!
