News & Resource Sharing

• PMHPSG Future 2022 Meeting Dates:
  -F, 9/16/22   11:30am-1pm  →  Topic:  Breastfeeding and PMH
  -W, 11/30/22   8:30-10am  →  Topic:  Interpersonal Violence (IPV) and PMH
  
  
• Meeting planning for September & November:  Three remaining topic areas were identified by attendees as priority for 2022:  Breastfeeding; Interpersonal Violence (IPV); and Marijuana*. In order to adequately plan and prepare for informed discussions on these identified topics, we need advanced input and expertise from participants!  If you are already signed up for our google group platform, please use the shared folder therin to share readings/ podcasts/ etc about these.  Also, if you would like to lead a discussion or present a case related to one of these topics – please let Sara Daly know, with as much notice as possible. Thank you!

       *Prenatal and postpartum cannabis use will be the topic of the next Prenatal/Postpartum Behavioral Health Network                    (PPBHN) meeting -- scheduled for Wednesday, May 11th from 9:30-11:00am. Jen K has posted specifics about that meeting         to the google group.

• Checking in about the shared google drive folder – Have people been able to access the material easily?  Any problems/ questions/ suggestions for improving this shared resource?

 

• Google Group (vs. Mail Chimp list):  Remember - we can all share resources with (or ask for help from) one another in ‘real time’ via our google group! To join our resource/ info sharing platform, search Google Groups for “Baltimore Perinatal Mental Health Professional Study Group” + request an invite.  Email Sara with questions: [email protected]    

 

• May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month!   Find more info and toolkits for awareness raising through Postpartum Support International (PSI), Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance (MMHLA), 2020 Moms, and more.
